About Me (Jess, obviously)
I’m a a Curaçao-born, South Florida-raised (I’m not crazy, I swear!), Los Angeles-based Capricorn with an insatiable passion and drive to create. With over a decade of experience in multi-disciplined creative production, it’s tough to give just one title when asked to describe what I do, so, here’s a list:
Creative Director
Senior Graphic Designer/Video Editor—Expert-level skills in the Top 4 Adobe CC programs: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign & Premiere Pro (Intermediate-level at #5/After Effects)
Stand-up Comic/Host & Show Producer
Pianist/Composer & Songwriter (PSA: never said I was a singer, but I do it anyway, sorry not sorry in advance)
See what I mean about the titles? Anyway, if you’re still here, scroll down and check out the portfolio. Then let me know if you wanna make some cool sh*t, ok? Talk to you soooooon!
Production
Jess has extensive experience in every corner of video production. Whether it’s crafting compelling stories as a writer, capturing the perfect shot as a producer, or fine-tuning the final cut as an editor, she knows how to bring a vision to life. Her production experience doesn’t stop at video production though; she’s also produced/hosted her own 45-episode podcast, and has produced/hosted several residency comedy shows in L.A.—most recently, Forbidden Fruit Comedy in DTLA (on hiatus ‘til further notice). Basically, when it comes to multimedia production, there’s not much you can ideate that she can’t/won’t try to turn into a reality.

Design
With over 15 years of experience in graphic design and advanced proficiency in the leading Adobe CC programs, Jess brings a dynamic, multimedia portfolio showcasing a diverse background in both print and digital media. Her expertise spans traditional and digital illustration, logo design and branding, photography retouching, social media graphics, print packaging, large-scale printing (both standard and custom), merchandise and promotional items, as well as music album art for both digital and print formats (CDs and Vinyl).
Writing
Jess is a storyteller at heart (legend has it, she hasn’t shut up since she learned to speak!) and, much like her other creative endeavors, hasn’t boxed herself into ONE category, so here’s some types of writing she’s done/can do (plus a few, fun samples below): scriptwriting, copywriting, editorial, short stories, songwriting, and…one & a half, non-fiction books.*
I Wanted to Be an Architect: A story about crushed childhood dreams
Dear Thieving Landlord: How to get your money back, against all odds (aka the time she got ripped off by her landlord and was NOT having it)
Why Black Snake Moan is the Worst: Belated Review (lost draft from 2014)
Jess spent a couple years writing for the once-popular, now-defunct Brooklyn blog F*cked in Park Slope, there’s 52 of them so maybe just check these out if you don’t have all day:
*One book finished/in progress of being edited, 1/2 a book on the back burner because… reasons. Don’t hassle her, ok? It’s a processssssss.
